What does a lifetime achievement award mean? However, more importantly what does it mean to me now in my 36th year on the scene?
Lifetime Achievement Award, holds different meanings:
Aspiration. It can serve as a benchmark of excellence in one's field. For those who have yet to received one, it might act as an aspiration, motivating them to strive to do better, and for excellence in their work. A friend told me eight years ago that she wanted to achieve what I'd done...which was lovely to hear. And I've done so much since then too.
Its taken a lifetime to get my award
Validation. Speaking from personal experience, it's been a significant form of validation. My entire career, acknowledging years of contribution, innovation, or influence in the area of fetish clubbing, BDSM education, and a well known, respected dominatrix and educator.
Recognition. The award symbolises the legacy and path I have carved out. It underscores the impact I have had, which might inspire others to consider how they wish to be remembered. I'm also archived in the Bishopsgate Institute.

Success. It can represent an ultimate goal, or as in my case an ongoing measure of success. When I reflect on my achievements, I know my career path is impressive.
Skepticism. Some might view these awards with skepticism, especially if they believe there's an element of exclusivity, favouritism, or if they prioritise personal fulfilment over public accolades. Remember you can't get a Lifetime Achievement Award unless you have lived a lifetime...don't be in a rush to get there.
Acknowledgment for my lifetime
Acknowledgment of Peers. For many they will feel happy for you, it might show up the ones that do not congratulate, as they are jealous. Remember my is for a lifetime and not for my recent career as a dominatrix.
Contributions. With or without the possibility of an award, it reminds us all to do our best. The importance of contributing significantly to their field or community. Continue with your best efforts, with or without public recognition. The award can influence how others to do better within their industry.
Love my fetish career
In conclusion, your day will come if you put in the time and effort to be the best you can. I can honestly say it's not something I set out to do. What I've always striven to do, is a good job, and facilitate people to have a good time. I loved being a fetish club promoter for 22 years EVERY month. My Mistress Workshop has been a never end course of joy! Being a domme is the cherry on the cake.
