London Parisian Lifestyle Dominatrix

Comparably there are very few differences between London and Parisian lifestyle dominatrix…well, the way I see it anyway! Here are a few examples of why I love Paris:

We take pride in your chez moi (home). Even though most London Parisian lifestyle apartments are small, we treat our home like a chateau…it's true for me! I’ve spent time developing my own style and ambiance, that is nothing like IKEA. It’s something that is rich, elegant and uniquely me. Surrounding myself with favourite things.

Flowers: These are how I show luxury. I've recently taken up flower arranging again. Love the aesthetics and romance flowers bring to my home. It’s an art form, that brings me joy! The Parisians often favour white, I love rich vibrate floral colours.

Entertaining: Gathering friends and throwing parties, or lunch, or supper.  Learning to host is essential for connecting with your friends! This doesn’t mean you have to pull out all the stops. Just invite a couple. Less can be more.  I’ve had many Christmas and birthday gathering. Mistress tea parties and roof terrace soirees.  Make it a habit of going out for dinner, coffee, wine, lunch, or afternoon tea. Eating and socialising go hand in hand!

Hair: Mastering a casual look is essential . Well-styled yet tousled, with a healthy shine. Avoid overdoing it.

Skincare: This should be taken seriously so you dont consider plastic surgery further down the line. Buy quality skincare products, and go to a spa for treats. It’s essential.

Scents: Luxury signature fragrance is iconic. The Parisians know a thing about fragrance, two of my favourite perfumers are Guerlain and La Labo, to name but a few.

London Parisian Lifestyle Dominatrix has Je ne sais quoi (I don’t know what)

According to Parisian women, your femininity is your elegance, plus your sex appeal - Je ne sais quoi.

Life can be fast pace…slow down. Take a break from your phone. How often do you see Parisians glued to their phones or laptops? Not very often. Instead, you’ll see them reading, enjoying their coffee, people watching, or just sitting. Or maybe they’re catching up with a friend, eating a light lunch, or tilting their head to the sun. We need to take a leaf from the Parisians book, as I do!

Foreign languages: Learn! This elevate you. Even if it’s just the basics. I only know the basics of Spanish.

As a London lifestyle dominatrix, I wish it was French!

Culture: Vulture is how I like to see myself, devouring all I can. Staying involved with art, reading, and the social commentary. Visiting many museums and galleries. It’s about beautifying your insides first. Recently watched the AMAZING film HIGH & LOW - JOHN GALLIANO a candid and gripping look at the rise-and-fall story of one of the most influential names in couture fashion, John Galliano is the new documentary from Academy Award-winner Kevin Macdonald. I cried 💦

Bookshelf: It tells you a lot about someone. A bookshelf is not just for decor, and for show….mine is behind a curtain anyway! Grow your physical library and online too.

Maturing: Embrace your age. Aging is inevitable, so give up on perfection. You can never be perfect anyway, so you may as well enjoy it. An educated woman isn’t discouraged when she ages, she still has a lot to offer mentally and intellectually. Wishing you were a different age is self-defeating and a disservice to who you are! A London Parisian lifestyle dominatrix over 50 not only develops her own charms and dresses with class, but she’s up to date on all the social and cultural events. She’s well-spoken and wise, having deep conversations on many topics.

Treats: I'm drawn to creativity, quality, and beauty. This doesn’t always just mean just going out and buying a designer handbag! Ask yourself, what little luxurious do you enjoy, maybe it’s a candle, high thread-count sheets, beautiful china, flowers or perfume. Fresh coffee. I buy my beans locally from a cafe called the Long White Cloud locally. Empress Grey tea (M&S) is never in a mug, but on a tray in a metal pot with a bone china cup and saucer. Flowers, I'm lucky as I live around the corner from Columbia Road Flower Market and get treated regularly.

Exercise: I prefer walking as it's simple and free. What gets me walking is the delight of swimming everyday. Cycling is good exercise and if you live in a big city then it’s a great way to explore and view it differently!

Food: Chocolate is an occasional splurge, pick really good ingredients and don’t feel guilty. Don't snack. Enjoy food at the dinner table. Sit on a chair (not the sofa) for meal time, have your plate at the table (not your lap), and eat without any distractions (not on technology). Have a picnic, afternoon tea or eat al fresco. Life is about slowing down and actually enjoying your food after all. Share this moment with your friends or family.

Fresh produce: I shop daily and locally.  Learn balance meals and small portions. Avoid the big grocery shop. Natural foods and no processed foods. A butcher, fish monger, cheese, and bread shops as well. Food is meant to be enjoyed. This means buying quality, my best boy Mr B taught me that. It helps you enjoy it!

Relationships: friendships are there for authentic moments and for talking about everything under the sun, whether big or small. I have separate friends in different circles and for different events, such as art friends that you meet at galleries, coffee friends, culture friends, and play friends, but deeper relationships are fewer and farther between, and take time to develop. Social networks is like everything else, it is quality over quantity. Very few last a lifetime.

Quality over quantity

Aperitif time: mine is an hour after lunch for a Chartreuse, Port or Sherry…just a small glass. I don't drink in the evenings. Unless it's party time.

Wardrobe: Minimal and capsule is just not me. More is more. I have lots of everything...except footwear. However, I have enough.

In addition to this, it should be noted that a Dominatrix is not just someone who perform BDSM practises and fetishes. However, she is someone who is educated, intelligent, discerning, cares about you and her profession. Choose wisely, it's not all about a pretty face and a slim body!
