I’m the kind of domme that's not a coffee lover but and afternoon tea Mistress.
Only recently did a favourite slave invite me to be his, afternoon tea mistress, and go to The Ritz with him, as he had a voucher. I declined as I've been there twice and would only like to go to new places. He's going to treat me in another way now.
It got me thinking about how much I love tea, and the occasion of a formal afternoon tea. Mistress would like more! You see tea drinking and afternoon high tea are not merely an affectation for me, but a true delight.
My favourite teas are Earl Grey, Lady Grey, Empress Grey, Rose Pouchong, Jasmine and a fresh mint infusion made with Gunpowder tea. My current favourite is a loose-leaf Polish tea and called Happy Birthday.
One mug is all I own, and that looks very girly!
The rest of my china are teacups and saucers in bone china. I like a thin lip to a cup and a small bowl. This is how you keep your tea hot by regularly topping up. Another tip for keeping tea piping hot, is in a metal tea pot. I hate it when you go to cafes and they use the water from the coffee machine. That is not boiling. Always use freshly drawn boiling water when preparing black tea; the boiling water (100c) "energises" the leaf and extracts all the character and flavour from the tea.
When folks say, 'milk first or last?" They don't mean with the tea bag in a mug! They mean, milk on it's own in a cup, to which you are adding freshly brewed tea from a tea pot.
I’ve been collecting cute, pink, floral, girly china for a while now. Due to the size of my petite and bijou kitchen, I really have to stop now.
Afternoon Tea Mistress
A couple of times a year I have Miss Kim's Afternoon Tea Party when I will get out the best china, have a selection of teas served by my favourite Maid Millie. My adorable maid always comes with specially chosen cakes for my Mistress Workshop ladies. Usually around seven or eight of them. We have the usual finger sandwiches, cakes and my personal favourite - scones, butter, jam and clotted cream. Quiz time means that one knowledgeable Mistress wins a crop to use on Maid Millie. A gathering of ladies also means an opportunity to teach. A chance to give my ladies some interesting and useful information or a demonstration.
